I served with Quin at Aldergrove 1973 to 1974 and fondly reemember the fondu parties at his house with all the forfeits. I also remember one very windy night, going round the entire camp securing the large halogen lights we had put up on oil drums around the dannert wire fencing we had all put up on our stand downs (JB hated us to be bored)and Quin was in charge of all lighting. I met up with him again at various times in our careers and he is a sad loss. He was a great bloke and you couldn't ask for someone better to be out on patrol with.
